Freuchie Flood Action Group has just received video footage taken during the flood event in the early hours of the 13th August 2008.
Yet more graphic proof of why Kingdom Housing Association and the developers must ensure they get the flood prevention implementation correct on this site.
This new content will be sent off to Fife Council Development Services, Kingdom Housing Association and SEPA.
If you have trouble viewing the video try going directly to the video hosting website.

Well Friday the 13th weather this year looks a bit better for Freuchie long may it continue … dont want to see 2008 again.
Freuchie may escape the Friday the 13th of August doom but it does look like people in the south-east of Scotland and east of England could be hit with flooding.
I cannot view this and FC wont allow me to watch on the video hosting website,David
You need to have Adobe Flash Player installed to be able to view this. It may be the case that FC don’t have this application installed on their computers due to the regular need to upgrade the program when yet another security issue is found with it. Unfortunately most video hosting sites using Flash Player to show the movies.
You could try to download the Windows Media Player version directly off the video hosting website:
http://blip.tv/file/get/Floodaction-FreuchieFlood13thAugust2008MainVillage260.wmv
Save it onto your PC and try playing the saved file.
You could also try the YouTube version in case it is an issue with BLIP.TV being blocked by FC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_V8ak8GsVY
Again this will need Flash Player.
Hope that helps.
