Sorry to hear you're still in danger of a repeat event.

It is important to fit flood protection products to your property to try to prevent future flooding.

Take care.

Nothing to worry about (yet) with the weather system working its way across the Atlantic at the moment. None of the weather forecasting services are showing this as dropping major amounts of rain on us. Still, need to keep a close eye on the changing forecasts as the weather system gets closer.

The level also dropped very quickly. As usual our problem now is that the ground is saturated and with no vegetation in the fields the run off will be extremely quick.
There is a forecast for continuous rain on Friday night. Fingers crossed it won't be too heavy.

The chicanes are patently dangerous because they make your own SAFETY totally reliant ON whether the driver coming the other way is observing the 20mph speed limit and the ‘Give way’ signs. The vast majority don’t, and yet you are expected to drive blindly towards them, potentially head-on.

There should be a roundabout at the junction of this road with the A92. There is the land available to build one. It would provide a safer access between Freuchie and the A92 than the restricted-visibility East End junction; it would serve as a traffic-calming measure on the A92 itself, by forcing traffic to slow down and observe the 40mph limit (thereby aiding pedestrian crossing of the A92, and facilitate easier vehicle exits from the garage; it would probably be beneficial for custom at the garden centre too.

Has Freuchie Community Council/Fife Council ever lobbied BEAR Scotland for a roundabout here? If not, why not?
